Thrown Pottery & Wheel Work
Earth, Water, and Hands in Motion
About this course
Wheel-throwing is one of the most physically present crafts: you cannot throw well without being fully in your body, fully attentive, fully here. This course takes you from your first centering attempt to finished, functional vessels — mugs, bowls, and vases. The clay does not care about your intentions. It only responds to your presence. That is the teaching.

Centering: The Most Difficult Lesson
30 minCentering is not about strength — it is about connection. Your hands must feel the clay spinning beneath them and respond to what they feel, not what they think. Centering cannot be rushed. It can only be practiced.
Opening the Floor: Creating Space
25 minOnce centered, you open the clay — creating the floor and walls of the vessel. Go too fast and the walls collapse. Go too slow and the clay dries. The wheel teaches you to work at the right pace.

What students are saying
“This completely changed how I approach my creative practice. I didn't expect to cry during a watercolor lesson — but here we are.”
“I've bought a dozen online courses. This is the only one I've actually finished. The mindfulness integration makes it feel intentional, not just consumable.”
“Worth every penny and more. I go back to certain lessons the same way I return to favourite books. There's always something new.”
